Melinda Buck Brown
Melinda is a graduate of Lincoln Memorial University Duncan School of Law, with honors. While at LMU DSOL, Melinda was a Peer Leader, the Parham Williams Senior Dean's Fellow, a nominee for the Lincoln Lawyer Awards for Leadership and Outstanding Character, and a Cali award winner for Research.
Melinda comes from a family of attorneys and she has worked in the legal field since high school. Sadly, Melinda's father, Frank Buck, passed away on January 25, 2024 at the age of 80. Read more about Frank Buck in The Tenessean.
Melinda has lived in Oak Ridge, Tennessee for over 25 years and is a proud supporter of the Oak Ridge High School Wildcats, as all three daughters graduated from ORHS.
Melinda serves on the board of directors for the Legal Aid Society of Middle Tennessee. She is a member of the Anderson County Bar Association, Tennessee Bar Association, and Knoxville Estate Planning Council. She is also President of the Golf View Homeowner's Association.
