Melinda Buck Brown


Melinda is a graduate of Lincoln Memorial University Duncan School of Law, with honors. While at LMU DSOL, Melinda was a Peer Leader, the Parham Williams Senior Dean's Fellow, a nominee for the Lincoln Lawyer Awards for Leadership and Outstanding Character, and a Cali award winner for Research.
Melinda comes from a family of attorneys. She has worked in the legal field since high school. She has lived in Oak Ridge, Tennessee for over 25 years and is a proud supporter of the Oak Ridge High School Wildcats, as all three daughters graduated from ORHS. She is a native of Smithville, Tennessee where her mother and fellow attorney, Lena Buck, still resides and practices in Smithville, Tennessee. Sadly, Melinda's father, Frank Buck, passed away on January 25, 2024 at the age of 80.
Melinda serves on the board of directors for the Legal Aid Society of Middle Tennessee. Melinda is a member of the Anderson County Bar Association and Tennessee Bar Association.
